Trent Boult, Nathan Coulter-Nile, and Adam Milne are among the big names in the Mumbai Indians'
overseas pace-bowling department. In their Indian pace attack, however, only Jasprit Bumrah is a
reliable option. Dhawal Kulkarni plays for the Mumbai Indians, but he went wicketless in the
four Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy matches he played this year.
Arjun Tendulkar has only played
two T20s, and Mohsin Khan has no IPL experience. So, if the Mumbai Indians decide to rest Bumrah
or unavailable for any reason, MI will be without a suitable backup option. In IPL 2021, even
Hardik Pandya is unlikely to bowl much.
The Mumbai Indians may suffer due to the lack of
another big name in their Indian pace-bowling section. The good news for Mumbai Indians is that
they have a deep Indian batting lineup. So, if they want, they can have two overseas pacers in
their playing XI.
